Uptown Dallas is more or less synonymous with the phrase “prime real estate.” The Walk Scores assigned to addresses in the neighborhood are a testament to this. Compare this to the average Dallas walk score of 45, and you can begin to imagine how much easier it is for residents to get around Uptown by foot.

Katy Trail, Griggs Park, and Klyde Warren Park
At the time it was completed in 2007, the multipurpose Katy Trail was the crown jewel among urban Dallas green space. Almost everyone who lived near was eager to have access to a scenic, car-free trail with few crossings or interruptions. Today, the Katy Trail and the recently made over Griggs Park still vie for the attention of nature lovers and outdoor recreation enthusiasts. But the still infant Klyde Warren Park, connecting Uptown Dallas to the Arts District and downtown, provides residents with another nice space for enjoying the great outdoors. Just the presence of these lovely, well-maintained green spaces is enough to motivate you to stay active and get out from time to time. AMLI Quadrangle is three blocks from the Katy Trail and just over ten minutes’ walk from Griggs Park.

Throughout its construction boom over the past decade, Uptown Dallas has transformed. During this time, many of the apartments for rent today in the neighborhood were built new or thoroughly renovated.
